SGGW offers a five & half-year (11 semesters) programme for secondary school graduates of studies leading to a Veterinary Surgeon degree (pol: Lekarz Weterynarii, lek. wet., am.: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, D.V.M.).
This program is taught exclusively in English, and leads to a Veterinary Surgeon (VS) degree. From start to finish, SGGW gives graduates the necessary experience to enter the veterinary profession with confidence. The cost of studies: 7600 EUR per one academic year. The program is rigorous , with students taking roughly 860 hours of classes (60 ECTS per year) the total minimum number of teaching hours is 5100, and the total minimum ECTS number is 330.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Warsaw, Poland, has been positively accredited to conduct studies in veterinary medicine by the PKA (Polska Komisja Akredytacyjna, State Accreditation Committee, http://www.pka.edu.pl/www_en/index.php), legal body working for the quality of education in Poland according the European law (Directive 36/2005).
